Steps in our Construction Process
Every home construction project is tailored specifically to your needs, whether it involves a remodel or repairs related to an insurance claim. This information is designed to clarify your role in the project, as well as the roles of our team, your insurance company, adjusters, and your mortgage company. The decisions you make will influence both the costs and the timeline of your project, but rest assured, we will support you through every step of the process.
During the general inspection, we assess the overall conditions to identify any necessary repairs.
If needed, the Permit Department will process and obtain the permit from your city or county. Once issued, they’ll forward your reviewed file to the Production Department to schedule and kick-start the material ordering process.
*The waiting time for permit processing varies by county
Once the homeowner’s permit is approved by the county or city, we reach out to inform them of the approval. We then coordinate with the homeowner to agree on a start date for the project, ensuring their availability aligns with our crew’s schedule.
Once the start date is confirmed, we place an order with the manufacturer for the necessary materials, aiming to have them delivered by the start date, typically scheduling delivery for the day before the project begins.
This process ensures everything is in place and ready, allowing the project to proceed smoothly and efficiently.
Materials will be at your house, and the construction process begins.
Our team will get to work. Alongside them, you’ll also see a project manager/supervisor overseeing the work.
Feel free to ask them any questions you have about the construction process.
*Remember that each file is processed and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. It also depends on weather and necessary permits.
Our Permit Department will schedule the necessary inspections with the city or county. An inspection date will be set – stay tuned!
*This usually takes place within the next few days after the project is completed.
Once the entire file payment is complete, our Finance Department can generate the warranty and completion documentation that shows the construction is finished, your file is fully paid, and thus, your account will be closed
